Out of Province Students' Club

The Out-of-Province Students’ Association was founded in 2022 and is one of the newer clubs at the Faculty of Law. The OPSA has three objectives:

1. Advocacy

We advocate on issues that uniquely affect out-of-province students at the Faculty.

2. Social Events

We bring together out-of-province students to socialize with their peers from across Canada and their home province. It can be difficult to leave home and move across the country, but it’s a little easier when you have a community to join!

3. Support and Mentorship

We hope to organize informational panels for students to learn about the recruit processes and job-searches outside of Ontario. These panels will be an opportunity to learn from upper-years and alumni who have participated in various recruits or sought out job opportunities outside Ontario. We are also working to create resources for students moving to Toronto for the first time to attend the Faculty of Law.
