Updated April 1, 2020

New JD First-Year Admits entering in 2020

  • You are expected to satisfy any conditions listed in your offer of admission letter.

  • For courses, programs and degrees in process during the 2019-2020 academic year, please ensure that they can be completed with CR/NCR grades. Consult your home institution to be certain.

Current and prospective applicants seeking 2020 entry into the JD program (First-Year, Transfer, Letter of Permission)

  • We will continue to accept applications with the eligibility requirements, application procedures and deadlines remaining unchanged. Our selection will remain holistic.

  • We consider an academic course with a credit (CR) grade to be a successfully completed course. Please rest assured that  we will not hold CR grades against an applicant in our review.

Prospective applicants seeking 2021 entry into the JD First-Year

  • We will accept applications to the JD program from August 20th 2020 with the usual eligibility requirements, application procedures and deadlines in place.

  • We consider an academic course with a credit (CR) grade to be a successfully completed course.  A CR grade has no numerical value and so it cannot be used in a GPA calculation. Nevertheless, we are confident in our ability to assess the strength of an applicant’s academic record whenever a traditional GPA cannot be calculated.

  • Our assessment of applications will remain holistic. It is based on the overall strength of an applicant's post-secondary academic record, LSAT results, and all the other information provided in the application file. Please rest assured that we will not hold CR grades against an applicant in our review.
