Supporting the Campaign for Excellence without Barriers

Deepening Student Financial Aid at the Faculty of Law

The Faculty of Law offers an outstanding legal education, the best in Canada, and among the Top 10 in the world. Our excellence is measured in the strength of our faculty and students, the breadth and rigour of our academic and clinical programs and the remarkable accomplishments of our alumni. The law school has a proud tradition of educating Canada’s most promising students for positions of leadership—in law, social justice, business, politics, policy and other arenas.

The Faculty of Law is committed to assisting the best and brightest students to attend law school, no matter their financial circumstances. The pressures on tuition have never been greater, and we cannot deepen our student financial aid program without your support. The Campaign for Excellence without Barriers is gaining incredible momentum, and we are grateful for the early support of so many alumni from all class years and legal areas.

Growing a robust student financial aid program is important for a range of reasons, including advancing social justice initiatives and furthering access and diversity in law, business and all areas of leadership.

With the construction of the Jackman Law Building now complete, the students and faculty have a contemporary, accessible home in keeping with the excellence of our program and international reputation. The Faculty’s focus now and going forward is to deepen our student financial aid resources to match the excellence in education and facilities available to our student
