Asia Law Society (ALS)

The Asia Law Society provides a forum for students of all backgrounds to further their interest in legal developments in Asia, as well as legal issues relevant to the Asian Canadian community. We engage in a variety of initiatives to benefit our membership body, including formal and informal social events, mentorship programs, and professional development opportunities. The Asia Law Society is one of the main organizers of the annual Asian Canadian Law Students Conference (ACLSC), which is attended by law students from across Canada and features distinguished speakers on both recruitment and substantive legal panels.

The Asia Law Society strives to cultivate a strong social community and professional networks for its members. We enjoy close partnerships with the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers (FACL), which provides educational, networking, and mentorship opportunities to students, as well as the Asian Law Students Association (ALSA) at Osgoode Hall.
