April Exam Logistics

Due to the closing of the St. George campus because of the COVID-19 outbreak, exams will be written remotely.  Students have an 8 hour window of availability in which to write, but the writing length (usually 2 or 3 hours) will still be enforced.  Students can open their exams starting at 9:30 am and exams must be submitted by 5:30 pm.  So, for example, if an exam is 3 hours, a student who opens the exam at 9:30 am may write until 12:30 pm, a student who opens the exam at noon may write until 3 pm, and a student who opens the exam at 2:30 pm may write until 5:30 pm.  No one should start their exam after 2:30 pm.

Students who experience breakdowns should complete their exam by handwriting, and will have an extra 15 minutes to send the hand written pages to records.law@utoronto.ca.

Students who have any questions or problems during exam writing should contact records.law@utoronto.ca or sara.faherty@utoronto.ca for assistance. We appreciate your patience and understanding with this system. It seems inevitable that there will be some glitches, but if we all stay calm and get in touch with each other right away, we are confident that we will be able to sort them out.
