Mathieu Taschereau

Mathieu Taschereau is a senior associate at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP in Toronto. He has assisted on a range of corporate matters, including public and private mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, shareholder activism and hostile takeovers. He previously completed a secondment at the Ontario Securities Commission’s Office of Mergers and Acquisitions, where he assisted in reviewing public M&A transactions, as part of the real-time review program, and participated in various policy projects. He was also an adjunct professor at Osgoode Hall Law School where he taught the Regulation of the Canadian Cannabis Industry course in the fall semesters of 2021 and 2022.
