Josh Nisker

Josh Nisker, LLB (Western) 2006, LLM (Cambridge) 2008, called to the Ontario Bar 2007. Josh is a partner at Beyond Law LLP, a Toronto-based litigation firm he co-founded in 2017. His practice is focused on serious personal injury cases including motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, wrongful death, and insurance disputes. Josh has presented as a guest speaker for the Law Society of Ontario, the Advocates’ Society, the Ontario Bar Association, the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law (Lakehead University), and Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) in the areas of personal injury law, negotiations, and the business of law. He has also published in a wide range of areas including personal injury law, privacy law, criminal justice, and Shakespeare. Josh has been recognized by Lexpert as one of Canada’s “Leading Lawyers to Watch” in the field of personal injury litigation (2021 and 2022). He has also been selected for inclusion in “Best Lawyers in Canada” in the field of personal injury litigation (2020-2023) and insurance litigation (2023).
