David Carter B.A. (McGill) 2008, J.D. (Queens) 2011 is the co-founding partner of the real estate firm, Grechi Carter Professional Corporation. His practice is focused on residential and commercial real estate law, private mortgage financing and mortgage enforcement work. David is the Co-author of Real Estate Transaction 2nd Edition, and an adjunct professor at Osgoode Hal Law School. He has authored papers for the Six Minute Real Estate Lawyer on topics including Registration of Easements, CRA Super Priorities and Mortgages, s. 17 of the Interest Act and Compensatory Fees vs. Penalties, Mortgage Enforcement Remedies, Lender’s Buying Under Power of Sale, and Boundary Discrepancies in the Agreement of Sale, Time of the Essence, Outstanding Building Permits, and Construction Financing.
