U of T Law graduate Caroline Catharine Opler Monahan (JD 2023) has been awarded the prestigious Frank Knox Memorial Fellowship at Harvard University.

The Frank Knox Memorial Fellowship program provides funding for students from Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom to conduct graduate study at Harvard University. A Knox Fellowship covers full Harvard tuition and living expenses.

The federal carbon tax increase is now in effect, and will raise gas prices by three cents per litre in most Canadian provinces.

On March 26, 2024, the Hon. Arif Virani (LLB 1998), Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, announced the appointment of Justice Robynne B. Kazina (JD MSW 2005) to His Majesty’s Court of King’s Bench of Manitoba.

Faculty of Law graduates Dianne G. Corbiere (LLB 1996) and Robert Cunningham (LLB 1990) have been awarded the Law Society Medal for significant contributions and dedication to the legal profession.

The medal is awarded by the Law Society of Ontario (LSO), the regulatory body of Ontario’s lawyers and paralegals, enacted since 1797.

Faculty of Law Professor Mayo Moran (SJD 1999), Provost and Vice-Chancellor of Trinity College in the University of Toronto, has been awarded the Law Society Medal.

Held in Toronto on March 9, the Walsh Family Law Moot is a competitive moot for 2nd and 3rd year law students from across Ontario.
