Today, the University of Toronto Faculty of Law celebrated its Class of 2023. 

Congratulations to all 231 JD graduates! 

The following Convocation Awards for graduating JD students were announced today at the JD program reception:

For countless immigrants and refugees, the opportunity to resettle in Canada brings hope for safety, security and a better life. But the process of becoming a new Canadian can be challenging: Non-citizens have limited rights and the system does not always serve newcomers well.

Graduates of the Juris Doctor (JD) program at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Law crossed the stage at Convocation Hall on June 14.

Professor John Borrows will receive an honorary degree from the University of Waterloo next week on June 15.

'Indigenous studies has so much to offer – and that should be taken seriously'

In addition to the 231 JDs who crossed the stage at Convocation Hall, four Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD) scholars were conferred their degrees at today's spring ceremony.
