U of T Law student mooters

Jason Silverberg, Matthew Walwyn, Morgan Watkins and Celina Kassam

The Walsh Family Law Moot and Negotiation Competition is named to recognize the late Supreme Court of Canada Justice George Tucker Walsh and his contributions to the growth and development of family law.

At the Negotiation Competition Celina Kassam (2L), Jason Silverberg (3L), Matthew Walwyn (3L) and Morgan Watkins (3L) successfully competed in three rounds of negotiations for U of T, with Watkins receiving the award for 3rd overall Best Individual Negotiator.

The team thanks adjunct moot advisors Samantha Eisen of Epstein Cole LLP and Judith Huddart of Dranoff & Huddart.

During the contest weekend, the U of T Law team placed first in the Walsh Family Law Moot.
