Wilson Moot 2021

Wilson Moot judges and mooters

Faculty of Law students took first place in the Wilson Moot, held virtually Feb. 19 & 20. The team also placed second for Best Factum.

The competition was created honour the outstanding contributions to Canadian law made by the late Honourable Bertha Wilson. This marks the second consecutive year a U of T Law team has won first overall at the Wilson Moot.

The U of T Law mooters are Myim Bakan Kline, Meg Cormack, Maija Fiorante and Greta Hoaken

The team's coaches include adjunct moot advisors Cheryl Milne, director, David Asper Centre for Constitutional Rights; and Joseph Cheng, General Counsel with the Department of Justice Canada’s National Litigation Sector (Ontario Regional Office);  and 3L student coaches Geri Angelova, Ahmed Elahi and Zoë Sebastien.
