U of T Law ranked first in Canada: Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2022 by subject

The University of Toronto Faculty of Law is ranked first in Canada and among the top 20 law schools in the world by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2022 by subject. 

U of T Law joins institutions in the top 20 from the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Belgium and Singapore. Along with McGill University, U of T Law is one of only two schools in Canada to rank in the top 30.

According to the THE, "The law subject table uses the same trusted and rigorous performance indicators as the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2022, but the methodology has been recalibrated to suit the discipline."

This year's rankings include 257 universities, up from 224 in the 2021 subject rankings.
