JD student Christie Kneteman attended the UN climate change summit in Copenhagen in December 2009 as a volunteer with the organization Islands First. She wrote two article in the "4Students" section of Canadian Lawyers Magazine about her work at the summit and the crisis created by climate change for small Pacific islands ("Our islands are drowning," December 14, 2009; "COP15 in Copenhagen: chaotic and incredible," December 21, 2009 ).
