Professor Trudo Lemmens of the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Law has been named a Fellow of the Hastings Center in recognition of his scholarly impact.

It is with immense sadness that the Faculty of Law announces the passing of Professor Emeritus, Jacob Ziegel.

Jacob Ziegel, Professor Emeritus at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, died in his 97th year, at Hazelton Place in Toronto. 

In an opinion (Intelligence Memos) for The C.D. Howe Institute, an independent not-for-profit research institute, University Professor Emeritus Michael J. Trebilcock addresses Canadians concerned about public policy:

"Many of Canada’s most pressing policy challenges entail significant interaction effects between policy domains, which for a federation like Canada poses major coordination hurdles.
