Kinch Hoekstra teaches in the Department of Political Science and the School of Law (Jurisprudence and Social Policy Program) at the University of California, Berkeley.  He was a member of the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Oxford for over ten years, where he was the Leveson Gower Fellow in Ancient and Modern Philosophy at Balliol College.  This year he is a Rockefeller Visiting Faculty Fellow at the University Center for Human Values at Princeton University.  He works primarily in ancient and early modern political, legal, and moral philosophy.

A light lunch will be provided.
