A fashion stylist highlighted new trends for spring and gave ideas for casual Friday wear. Neutral tones for men and women, such as olive and khaki, and pastels, including sea foam green, are hot this spring. The loafer is making a comeback in men's shoes as well.

As for casual Fridays, keep it polished, says the stylist, and flip-flops are definitely verboten.

A layered look works for men and women. A suit can be used as separates with other items, such as argyle sweater for men, or silk slip dress for women, worn under a jacket,  to take them into after-hours.

Colourful scarves and gold accessories brighten up the monochromatic look, as do the lavenders and coral colours displayed around the store.

Alumni enjoyed a 25 percent shopping discount, and received a free perfume/cologne gift as well. Some brought friends and colleagues, from as far away as New York City.
