The Faculty of Law was featured in a variety of ways in the Globe and Mail's "Report on Law Schools" in the Report on Business section on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2008.

The story "Out of the classroom, into the trenches" features the LAWS program and quotes its director, Alexis Archbold:

"The [law] students' work involves a hugely diverse community that faces a variety of issues," says Alexis Archbold, director of the LAWS program. "As a result of being exposed to a cross-section of the community in Toronto ... they learn how to communicate across cultural differences and they gain an understanding of the issues these communities face. This can only help law students as future lawyers."

The story "Beyond the partner's office" features quotes from third-year JD student Rob Wakulat, editor of Ultra Vires, and Assistant Dean of Career Services Lianne Krakauer.
