Congratulations to this years Walsh Family Law Negotiation Competition participants!

The Walsh Family Negotiation Competition is a competition for 2nd and 3rd year law students from across Ontario. Working in teams of two and using facts for each partner in a family law dispute, U of T Law students Emma Baliat (2L), Christos Kakaletris (3L), Ashley Jeon (2L), and Alice Min (2L) negotiated with opposing teams in three successive rounds of increasing complexity.

Second year students, Emma Baliat (2L) and Alice Min (2L) were awarded Best Negotiation Plan.

The entire team thanks their Moot Advisors, U of T Law alumni Judith Huddart (LLB 1980) and Samantha Eisen (JD 2017), for their extensive feedback and support in the months leading up to the competition. They also encourage future mooters to consider applying for the Walsh Negotiation Competitive Moot, as it offers a dynamic and unique mooting experience!
