The Toronto Star has featured the work of the U of T law students who work at the legal clinic Downtown Legal Services ("Law students defend the needy," Toronto Star, January 21, 2008). The story describes the work of some individual students and quotes students Kate Brindley and Sam Siew, as well as DLS staff. For example:

For [Kate Brindley], working at the clinic has been the most rewarding part of law school, giving her a taste of the challenges faced by people without means. "It's a learning experience for me, and this is very real for them."
