Faculty of Law students have once again achieved an impressive winning streak in competitive moots. In January, second-year students Tammy Jacobson and Todd Orvitz won the Annual Canadian Labour Arbitration Moot, sponsored by Matthews, Dinsdale & Clark LLP. They were particularly grateful for the support they received from their coach and mentor, alumnus Laura Trachuk ('86).

In the Gale Moot in February, the U of T team of Matthew Gourlay, Joanna Goldenberg, Fredrick Schumann, and Emma Ruby-Sachs won third place. They were coached and mentored by Profs. Michael Code ('76) and Martha Shaffer ('87) and alumni Clayton Ruby ('67) and John Norris ('91).

For the third consecutive year, the U of T Securities Moot team won first place. Congratulations to Brian Duong, Mark Myhre, Adam Hirsh, and Andrew Parley, and a special thanks to the coaching they received from their faculty advisors and from fellow students Chris Graham, Chris Burr, Ryan Zener.

In the Wilson Moot, Sarah Hudson received the award for Top Oralist. Congratulations also to team members Anji Samarasekera, Hadiya Nedd-Roderique, and Rose Park, and a special thanks for the coaching they received from their fellow students Tanya Thompson, Susannah Howard, and Adam Ship, and their faculty advisors

Congratulations to all the teams and many thanks to all alumni who generously gave their time to coach and mentor the students.
