Each year, Canadian Lawyer recognizes and celebrates the exceptional contributions of legal professional across Canada.

Whether working as in-house counsel, with non-profits or advocacy groups, these professionals are the pinnacle of excellence within the profession.

The 2023 cohort in particular “consists of lawyers who display a passion for justice, human rights advocacy, and societal equity, and are all influencing standards and attitudes with their outstanding professional abilities”.

With 131 nominees and more than 21,000 votes cast, six U of T Law alumni have been named to the 2023 Canadian Lawyer's Top 25 Most Influential Lawyers list:
