In the Globe and Mail, Prof. David Schneiderman has written a commentary on the City of Toronto's attempt to evict the Occupy Toronto protesters from St. James' Park ("Toronto’s protesters have the right to stay put," Nov. 17, 2011).

Prof. Schneiderman also commented on this issue for an article in the Toronto Star ("Occupy may have a good case to stay," Nov. 16, 2011). Prof. Schneiderman will be speaking at the event "Occupied Economies: Designing Solutions to Global Problems" on Friday Nov. 18, which is co-sponsored by the U of T Faculty of Law.

In a Q & A on the Global Toronto website, Prof. Ed Morgan answered a series of questions about the legal issue around the City's attempt to evict the Occupy Toronto protesters ("Freedom of speech or city bylaws? Looking at the legal issues of Occupy Toronto," Nov. 16, 2011).
