Nina Haikara

Nina has broad experience supporting advancement, student life, recruitment and outreach and research enterprises across the university. Over the last decade, she has held increasingly senior communications positions within U of T, including U of T Magazine, Department of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering, Department of Computer Science, and the newly established School of Cities, prior to joining the Faculty of Law in 2019. She is an alumna of U of T and also completed a master’s degree in higher education theory and policy from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE). Nina is a recipient of the Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award (2003) and the U of T Arbor Award (2017) in recognition of her contributions to Innis College.
