Samantha is the founder of SJE Law | The Toronto Family Lawyer where she practices exclusively family law, with an emphasis on supporting survivors of gender-based violence and abuse.  

Samantha is a trained practitioner in Collaborative Family Law and where possible, uses her settlement training to help clients achieve their goals through a negotiated resolution. Where settlement is not possible, Samantha is a dynamic litigator who has successfully appeared before all levels of court, including the Ontario Court of Justice, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Canada.

Prior to founding SJE Law, Samantha practiced at two highly respected boutique law firms in Toronto, the first where she practiced exclusively family law, and the second where she practiced family law and civil litigation advocating on behalf of survivors of gender-based violence, assault and abuse. 

Samantha is currently enrolled in the Professional LLM Program at Osgoode Hall Law School, specializing in Dispute Resolution.
