Misha Boutilier is a Judicial Research Lawyer to the Chief Justice of Ontario at the Court of Appeal for Ontario. Misha completed his law degree at the University of Toronto, receiving the Angus MacMurchy Gold Medal and the Cecil A. Wright Dean’s Key, and competing for the University of Toronto team in the Canadian and International Rounds of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. After graduating, he clerked for the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada and for Justices Sharpe, Tulloch (as he then was), and Miller at the Court of Appeal for Ontario. He has also worked as a litigation associate with the New York office of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP for several years, and served as Commission Counsel with the Public Order Emergency Commission.
