Lauren Pearce is a lawyer and founding partner at Jones Pearce LLP, a boutique union-side labour law firm. Lauren advises public and private sector trade unions and associations, including in collective bargaining, grievance and interest arbitrations, as well as the day-to-day work of representing members. Lauren is a particularly skilled written advocate, and her academic writing has been cited by both the Supreme Court of Canada (2020 SCC 30) and the Court of Appeal for Ontario (2017 ONCA 301).

Prior to founding Jones Pearce LLP, Lauren practised for five years at a leading Toronto litigation firm in the areas of labour, employment, professional discipline, and public and administrative law.

Lauren is dedicated to improving access to justice and regularly volunteers with Pro Bono Ontario. She previously earned a BA from McGill University and a JD from the University of Toronto.
