Johanna Macdonald is the Director of Education at Innocence Canada (IC). She is an experienced lawyer and long-standing advocate for individuals and groups facing discrimination and marginalization.  Prior to Innocence Canada, Johanna was the Clinic Director at Parkdale Community Legal Services, the Health Justice Lawyer at ARCH Disability Law Centre and the Street Youth Legal Services Lawyer at Justice for Children and Youth.  She worked internationally at the Khmer Institute of Democracy in Cambodia and during law school at student legal clinics. She received her B.A. Hons in Criminology at Carleton University, LL.B. from the University of British Columbia and LL.M. from Osgoode Hall Law School.
