Jane Kidner

Jane Kidner, B.A. (U of T), J.D. (U of T), LL.M. (ADR) (Osgoode), Q. Med. was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1994.  She practiced civil litigation at WeirFoulds LLP for several years before leaving private practice to join U of T Faculty of Law as Assistant Dean, leading four portfolios in development, external relations and executive education over nearly two decades.  In 2017 she joined Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson) as Executive Director of the business school.  Since 2012 Jane has been a part time mediator, conducting  hundreds of mediations for the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and various workplaces, and has coached professionals and leaders in complex unionized workplaces in conflict resolution strategies. Jane teaches mediation at the U of T Law School, and feels privileged to help train the next generation of mediators and continue to learn herself from some of Canada’s best and brightest law students. Contact:  J.Kidner@live.com
