Geoff R. Hall, B.A. (McGill; Gold Medallist) 1987, M.A. (Toronto) 1988, LL.B. (Toronto; Silver Medallist) 1991, LL.M. (Harvard) 1996, called to the Bar of Ontario 1993. Mr. Hall clerked at the Supreme Court of Canada in 1991-92 and then joined McCarthy Tétrault LLP, where he is currently a partner in the Toronto litigation group. He has a broad litigation practice but with a significant focus on commercial disputes, in particular contractual matters. He is the author of Canadian Contractual Interpretation Law (LexisNexis Canada, 2007; second edition 2012; third edition 2016), which has been cited numerous times by Canadian courts including the Supreme Court of Canada.
