Brendan F. Morrison, J.D. (UofT) 2011, M.Sc. (LSE) 2008, B.A.H. (Univ. King’s College) 2006, was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2012.  He is a Partner at Lenczner Slaght LLP where he has a broad civil litigation practice, focusing on complex commercial disputes, professional liability, fraud, defamation, shareholder and employment matters, and civil sexual assault cases.  Brendan has appeared before all levels of courts, including the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Federal Court, the Federal Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Canada. He also represents clients before courts of other provinces and various administrative tribunals such as the Capital Markets Tribunal, the Human Rights Tribunal, and the discipline tribunals of the Ontario College of Massage Therapists and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Brendan is consistently listed by Lexpert and Best Lawyers as a leading specialist in corporate commercial litigation, medical negligence and defamation. He is a Faculty member of the Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop (“ITAW”) at Osgoode Hall, and regularly speaks on panels about the practice of law and the legal profession.
