In order to help your clients achieve your goals, your job is to design the legal structures and offer the relevant advice that put them on the path to success. This requires you to have an understanding of the rights, obligations, and interests of the entrepreneur and other corporate clients, as well as the tools that can help them protect those interests.

This virtual session is the third in a 3-part series designed to help law students and lawyers understand the mindset of entrepreneurs, determine their legal needs, and access the financing and venture capital that will allow them to achieve their goals. This particular session will be focused on the paths to acquiring financing and establishing the financial health of the organization. Upon completion of this session, participants will gain insight into:

  • Why Financing is Needed
  • Types of Financing
  • Negotiations and Valuations
  • Risk Assessments of various fundraising options
