Many law students end up working in private practice and, depending on the firm or company in which they end up, equity may not be the focus of their career or workplace. This does not mean that students cannot promote equity while working, but it is sometimes difficult to know how to do this. The Students’ Law Society Equity Officers are hosting a panel discussion which aims to shine a light on the experiences of practitioners who have successfully promoted equity all while working in private practice. Registered attendees will also be entered into a raffle for a chance to win some fantastic prizes provided by McCarthy Tétrault's Inclusion Now program.

Speakers include:
Lori Anne Thomas, Thomas Defence
John Brown, McCarthy Tétrault
Adrian Ishak, Salesforce
Charlotte-Anne Malischewski, McCarthy Tétrault

This event will be hosted remotely via video conference. To attend, please RSVP at https://forms.gle/r923P67VA7JgFwtp8 by October 1 at 10:00 am.
