In order to help your clients achieve your goals, your job is to design the legal structures and offer the relevant advice that put them on the path to success. This requires you to have an understanding of the rights, obligations, and interests of the entrepreneur, as well as the tools that can help them protect those interests.

This virtual session is the second in a 3-part series designed to help law students and lawyers understand the mindset of entrepreneurs, determine their legal needs, and access the financing and venture capital that will allow them to achieve their goals. This particular session will be focused on contracts, intellectual property, and the detailed legal structures that allow entrepreneurs to operate their business.

Upon completion of this session, participants will gain insight into:

The evolution of valuable property
Strategies for protecting Intellectual Property
Contracts with customers
Licensing and Regulation issues
