Monday, March 11, 2024 - 12:30pm to 2:00pm
Location:
Jackman Law Building

A conversation with disabled legal professionals and disability advocates about their experiences in the profession. Hosted by the Disabled Law Students' Association (DLSA), the panel will consist of a moderated discussion followed by a Q&A. We are excited to be joined by professional from a variety of legal backgrounds including: private practice (Jeff Adams, associate at Fasken; Simon Margolis, knowledge management lawyer at BLG), the Ontario Bar Association (Kelly McDermott, President), and legal academia (Odelia Bay, PhD Candidate at Osgoode Hall Law School). This is a great opportunity for all students to learn more about the perspectives of disabled professionals in the law and for students with disabilities to gain insight into navigating the legal profession.
