1L Career Foundations: Career Introduction

This critical program is intended to provide first year law students with an opportunity to meet the CDO staff and be introduced to the services they provide, an overview of the legal recruitment landscape, detailed timing about the first year recruitment processes and, more importantly, reassurance that your career search needn’t start now. The CDO will also provide you with a preview of upcoming timelines for 2L and 3L, plus a discussion about how to identify your career goals.

1L Career Foundations is a series of four MUST ATTEND programs for first year students including:

1. Career Introduction;
2. Application Preparation;
3. The Law Interview;
4. Hands-on Application Review and Interviewing.
