Dirty Water, Dirty Hands:

Public Health Deficits and Water Quality Debacles

on First Nation Reserves

Thursday, February 5, 2009
12:30 - 2:00
Faculty of Law, University of Toronto
Solarium (room FA2) - 84 Queen's Park

This talk draws connections between several of the public health problems that are known to be prevalent within reserve-based First Nation communities, and the quality of their drinking water.  It centrally asks why, from a law and policy perspective, the water quality problems persist, and what sort of response may enable them to finally be addressed.

A light lunch will be provided.
