Professor Audrey Macklin and Research Fellow Penelope Simons have co-authored (with human rights lawyer Georgette Gagnon) a report on home state regulation of transnational corporations operating in conflict zones: Deconstructing Engagement: Corporate Self-Regulation in Conflict Zones - Implications for Human Rights and Canadian Public Policy.

The report was funded as part of "Relationships in Transition," a Strategic Joint Initiative of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council and the Law Commission of Canada.
