JD student Ryan Liss attended the first Review Conference of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court in Kampala, Uganda in the Spring of 2010, as a member of the delegation of the Coalition for the International Criminal Court  (CICC). His participation was supported by the Faculty of Law and the International Human Rights Program (IHRP).

Profs. Mohammad Fadel and Arthur Ripstein participated in a panel discussion on the CBC radio show "Ideas" on the topic of "Talking Philosophy: Secularism" (Aug. 3 and Aug. 4, 2010).

We live in a Secular Age. Here in Canada, as in other liberal democracies, religion no longer plays a central role in public life. How then are we to think, in a principled way, about a host of issues riddling society today?

(Sept. 13, 2010) It was a busy and noisy week last week, as hundreds of law students descended on Falconer Hall and Flavelle House to find their classes, buy books and begin school.

Prof. Anita Anand(August 31, 2010) Prof. Anita Anand was appointed the chair of the Ontario Securities Commission investor advisory panel today.

Anand is an associate professor and a past associate dean of the J.D. program here at the UofT Faculty of Law. She teaches securities regulation and corporate law.
