The Center for Transnational Studies, of which the University of Toronto Faculty of Law is a founding partner, is featured in the New York Times ("Four-Year-Old Center in London Is Devoted to Growing Field of Transnational Law," April 8, 2012).

The story quotes Prof. Kerry Rittich, currently co-director of the Center, who says  "CTLS is a place where everyone is a stranger. Globalization is a legal project — it’s based on laws. We want students to think about what the institutions that govern globalization should be. Who’s in control? And how do you get political input and democratic accountability?"
