Location:
Falconer Hall, Room 212

Please join us for the second event of this academic year's Lunch Series on Comparative Law and Foreign Legal Systems. We are looking forward to two exciting talks:

  • Adam Yoshida (GPLLM) will discuss Executive Succession in the Case of a Vacancy in U.S. law, with a particular focus on the Presidential Succession Act.
  • Michaël Lessard (SJD) will speak to "You Only Live Twice? Three Leading Cases on Posthumous Interests in French Law"

Following the talks, there will be ample time for questions and discussion.

The event is open to all students and other interested parties.

A light lunch will be served. There will also be coffee, but please bring your own mug.

We are looking forward to seeing you!

About the Lunch Series: In the Lunch Series on Comparative Law and Foreign Legal Systems, graduate law students present on and discuss selected aspects of non-Canadian law and legal systems.
