Law School Convocation 2011

The date for the 2011 Law School Convocation has been confirmed for Friday June 3, 2011 at 10:00 am. This will be a law-only convocation, followed by a reception on the back lawn of the law school.

• This year's convocation honorary degree recipient and speaker will be the Rt. Hon. Paul Martin '64, Canada's 21st Prime Minister.
• Convocation will be webcast live. Click here at 10 am on Friday June 3 to watch convocation, including the Rt. Hon. Paul Martin's speech.

Preliminary Convocation information:

·         Detailed information about all aspects of Convocation will be sent out. Please be sure to check you utoronto e-mail regularly.

·         Each student is allowed six tickets for the Convocation ceremony. Tickets will be distributed through the law school and not through the Convocation web-site. Once all tickets have been distributed, and only then, if additional tickets are available students will be notified and they will be distributed accordingly.

·         Convocation Hall is accessible to people with disabilities. At the time tickets are distributed, we will make arrangements for those visitors who have difficulty walking to sit in the main floor area.

·         Following the ceremony students and their guests are invited to return to the law school for a light lunch at which speeches and awards are given.

·         The Law School Composite photo will be available for pick-up at the Reception. If you have questions about having your photo taken please contact corey.besso@utoronto.ca
