The British Colombia Civil Resolution Tribunal (CRT) is Canada's very first online tribunal. The CRT focuses on resolving Motor Vehicle Injury Claims, Small Claims, Strata Property (Condominium) Disputes, as well as Societies and Cooperative Associations Disputes. The CRT offers a unique, timely, and cost-effective method for resolving legal disputes. It encourages a collaborative problem-solving approach, aims to provide timely access to justice built around the participant's life, and is available entirely via computer or mobile.

Shannon Salter, the Chair of the CRT, will join us to discuss the growth of Online Dispute Resolution, the challenges of pioneering its implementation in Canada, the incredible success of the CRT in British Colombia, and her thoughts on the future of Dispute Resolution. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about how institutions in Canada are responding to technological innovation and harnessing its power to create more convenient and accessible services. This session will also explore the importance of Online Dispute Resolution, a form of dispute resolution that has exploded in both popularity and use over the last decade.
