Distinguished Alumnus Award Dinner

The Faculty of Law is delighted to announce that the Honourable William (Bill) Graham ('64), alumnus and current Provost of Trinity College, has been chosen as the 2008 distinguished alumnus this year. The award dinner will be held at the Great Hall of Hart House on the university's St. George campus. The Ann Wilson and Robert Prichard Award for Community and Professional Service presentations will also be made that same evening. Arif Virani('98) has been named the 2008 recipient.

The Distinguished Alumnus Award has been presented every other year since 1982 by the faculty to a graduate  in recognition of their extraordinary public leadership and lifelong commitment to the  community which exemplify the highest ideals of the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law. Previous recipients include the late Chief Justice Bora Laskin,  Madam Justice Rosalie Silberman Abella and the The Honourable Paul E.P. Martin. The inaugural Ann Wilson and Robert Prichard Award for Community and Professional Service was presented in 2006 to Jennifer Orange('98).
