We are thrilled to announce David Shore, creator of the television program “House” and a member of the class of 1982, will give the Convocation address on Friday June 5th at 10:00 a.m. in Convocation Hall.

I would suggest that you check the Convocation Office website frequently for latest updates as well as the law school website www.law.utoronto.ca in e-community where important information will be posted.
ACADEMIC REGALIA RENTAL
You must order academic regalia (gown & hood) on-line at https://www.gaspard.ca/gaspard/ci/index.php/cart/page/UofTorontoFaculty/0
Take note of the rental confirmation number. This service opens May 5th.

Submit RSVP form by email (see email listserv subject line: Convocation RSVP reply -- sent on April 16, 2009)
You do not require a ticket to attend the Convocation ceremony, but your guests do.
The final date for confirming your attendance at the ceremony and lunch, and arranging for guest tickets, is Friday May 29. Students who do not RSVP before May 29 will have their tickets given to others who require extra tickets.
TICKET DISTRIBUTION
Convocation Guest tickets will be available for pick-up:
· Tuesday May 19 to Friday May 29 (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
· Faculty of Law, Falconer Hall, 84 Queen’s Park, room 211
Students who are out of town during the ticket distribution period must contact Merril via email at m.randell@utoronto.ca to arrange an alternate method of ticket pick-up. You may designate someone to pick up your tickets, only by sending an email to Merril indicating to whom you are delegating this responsibility.
