Black Future Lawyers (BFL) is an extensive support system by UofT Law for Black undergraduate students attending any university/college who are interested in obtaining a legal education. Membership in BFL is free.

All BFL members are invited to attend this session for an introductory look at the admission process for entry to a JD program in Canada.

The session covers general information on the key aspects of the process for becoming a licensed lawyer via any of the common-law schools in Canada, including:

  • pre-law preparation
  • law school application, selection and financing
  • lawyer licensing
