A new multi-author white paper — Frontier AI Regulation: Managing Emerging Risks to Public Safety — whose co-authors include U of T Law Professor Gillian Hadfield, director of U of T's Schwartz Reisman Institute for Technology & Society (SRI) and SRI Graduate Affiliate, Noam Kolt, a doctoral candidate at U of T Law, discusses the challenges of regulating frontier AI models.

Three of the paper’s co-authors—Markus Anderljung, Jonas Schuett, and Robert Trager—summarize the paper’s findings.
