U of T Law alumni receive Law Society Medal

Faculty of Law graduates Dianne G. Corbiere (LLB 1996) and Robert Cunningham (LLB 1990) have been awarded the Law Society Medal for significant contributions and dedication to the legal profession.

The medal is awarded by the Law Society of Ontario (LSO), the regulatory body of Ontario’s lawyers and paralegals, enacted since 1797.

Congratulations to this years Walsh Family Law Negotiation Competition participants!

The Walsh Family Negotiation Competition is a competition for 2nd and 3rd year law students from across Ontario. Working in teams of two and using facts for each partner in a family law dispute, U of T Law students Emma Baliat (2L), Christos Kakaletris (3L), Ashley Jeon (2L), and Alice Min (2L) negotiated with opposing teams in three successive rounds of increasing complexity.
