Adjunct Professor

Gerald ChanB.Comm. (Toronto) 2003, LL.B. (Osgoode) 2006, was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2007. He practices criminal, constitutional, administrative, and select civil litigation as a partner at Stockwoods LLP (and previously with Clayton Ruby at Ruby Shiller Chan Hasan). He conducts trials and appeals, and acts for clients in police, regulatory and corporate investigations. He teaches on the faculty of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada’s National Criminal Law Program and has published numerous books on sentencing, digital evidence, and digital privacy. He is an elected Bencher at the Law Society of Ontario. Before his call to the Bar, Gerald clerked for Justice Abella at the Supreme Court of Canada and graduated as co-gold medallist from Osgoode Hall Law School. Contact: Geraldc@stockwoods.ca
