Absolutely Interdisciplinary pairs scholars working in different disciplines to explore crucial issues at the forefront of AI and society. This year’s conference features Harper Reed and Beth Coleman discussing AI and the future of democracy, Gillian Hadfield and Peter Railton discussing a world of natural and artificial agents in a shared environment, Peter Loewen and Ray Perrault on the global state of AI, Huili Chen and I. Glenn Cohen on protecting humanity in an age of AI, Roger Grosse discussing algorithms for AI safety cases, and more.

There will also be a session chaired by Faculty of Law Professor Anna Su on human rights and protecting humanity in the age of AI.
